Goddess Laxmi is the daughter of Sea because she rose from the Ocean.  She is the wife of Lord Vishnu and the pair is often worshipped as Laxminarayana.

Painting done in Kerala Mural Style with intricate lines and dots showing depth.  The medium used here is Acrylic, Watercolors and Indian drawing inks for the shading.
